Clean:

Remove the spatter guard and the cooking plate from the body of the appliance. Use the scraper and a soft cloth to remove food residues. For more significant, encrusted residues, run warm soapy water over the non-stick surface and clean it with a nylon brush. Rinse and wipe carefully. Remove the collection tray, empty it after each use, and wash it with hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry it before putting it back in place.
